PSX Rebounds Strongly: KSE100 Surges 3% to Close Above 161,000, Snapping 7-Day Losing Streak

The PSX made a strong comeback as the KSE100 Index jumped over 3%, adding 4,899 points to close above the 161k mark. This surge ended a seven-day losing streak during which the index had dropped over 10,000 points.

However, despite today's rebound, the index remains down for the week, with a loss of 1,672 points.

In October, the KSE100 Index dropped by 2.3%, compared to an 11.4% rise in September. This marked the first negative month since April. Between May and September, the index had surged by over 48%.
